NATUROTHERAPY DIPLOMA PROGRAM

The Naturotherapy Diploma is a program that teaches non-invasive healthcare techniques and natural healing using a variety of substances and modalities such as food, vitamins, minerals, exercise, and more. The program includes courses on anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry, as well as orthomolecular nutrition, naturotherapy health interviews, assessment techniques, lab report interpretations, detoxification, and more.  

Students will learn how to establish an inexpensive in-office laboratory and perform and interpret various lab tests. The program also covers constitutional hydrotherapy techniques and carbon-dioxide therapy for various health challenges. The course is delivered online, and students will be required to complete case studies and a thesis.

After successfully finishing the program, graduates will earn a coveted Naturotherapy diploma and have the opportunity to pursue certification as a Registered Naturotherapy Practitioner, enhancing their credibility and recognition within the industry.

MODULES:

1. Review of Anatomy & Physiology:
This course reviews the basic anatomy and physiology of the human body, which is a prerequisite for the program. 

2. Principle and Practice of Natural Medicine: This course introduces traditional nature's medicine, emphasizing education, counseling, natural healing techniques, and natural substances. 

3. Orthomolecular Nutrition - Vitamins:
This course covers a comprehensive overview of nutrition, including insights from both Eastern and Western science, the ecology, biochemistry, physiology, and pharmacology of nutrition. It also discusses each vitamin and minerals role in the body, what symptoms occur in deficiency, and the optimal ways to incorporate them through food and supplementation.  

4. Orthomolecular Nutrition - Minerals:
This course focuses on why minerals are essential to the body and how and when to incorporate them into a program for balancing and optimizing health. 

5. Orthomolecular Nutrition - Enzymes:
This course explores how industrialization has negatively impacted on our bodies' ability to deal with toxic exposure and how to support our organs by detoxification. It teaches how to explore the role of toxicity in modern health challenges and the ways to detoxify naturally. 

6. Naturotherapy Health Interview:
In this course, students learn how to perform a complete functional health assessment of the body systems to achieve mineral balance. They will also accomplish a detoxification health assessment, documentation, and interpretation of functional evaluation and formulate a wellness program based on the client's needs. 

7. Naturotherapy Assessment Techniques: This course emphasizes direct observation and interviewing, which are significant for assessing clients' progress and developing health coaching skills.  

8. Nutrition Lab Report Interpretations:
This course provides students with excellent resources on both conventional and alternative scopes of laboratory chemistries. The course content focuses on assessing nutritional status and trends toward health challenges through standard lab test interpretation.  

9. Mineral Medicine - Balancing - Oligo Elements: This course discusses the role of oligo elements in the body and how to balance them to optimize health.  

10. Introduction to Eclectic Medicine:
This course provides an overview of the administration of preparations made from living organisms, including bacteria, fungi, and yeast of the plant kingdom, to stimulate the immune system and maintain health. 

11. Eclectic Medicine Protocols:
This course builds on the previous course's knowledge and provides specific protocols for using various biological products to stimulate the immune system and maintain health. 

12. Biological Remedies-Therapy:
This course discusses various biological products that stimulate the immune system and maintain health, leading to their discovery and use date back to Hippocrates. 

13. Detoxification Techniques:
This course explores how toxicity contributes to many modern health challenges and how to support the organs of detoxification.  

14. In-Office Functional Lab Test:
This course teaches students how to improve their skills in assessing functional indicators and implementing treatment plans, how to establish an inexpensive in-office laboratory, and how to perform and interpret various lab tests, including the Zinc Challenge Test, Saliva Mineral Challenge Test, Urinary Chem-strip Test, Brix glucose index test, Saline index test, Nutrition Interpretation of Medical laboratory test, and Hair Tissue Mineral Interpretation. 

15. Constitutional Hydrotherapy Techniques: This course teaches constitutional hydrotherapy techniques, massage and spinal massage, spinal techniques, poultices, and aroma therapeutics. 

16. Carboxytherapy:
This course teaches students how to incorporate carbon-dioxide (carboxytherapy) protocols for various health challenges, including pain management, circulatory, skin, weight management, body detoxification, and overall wellness.

Qualification: This program qualifies the holder to apply for the designation of RNP (Registered Naturotherapy Practitioner) from the Board of Natural Medicine Doctors and Practitioners-North America (BNMDP-NA) and the Natural Medicines Certification Council (NMCC).
